An another important Challenge at Bardens' Lookout.

Nankeen Kestrel
Someone was climbing at Hermione at warming up area, Little Trigger Wall when we reach there yesterday regardless of the pink tag. They were told off by one of our local mates, though it was not easy to persuade one of them for him. We need a clear signage about Nankeen Kestrel at the bottom of the route. And more ads for awareness to reach necessary people who do not read anything other than crag info from our guide books or websites, who do not care about the endangered species. We are sharing rock with not only other climbers but also with other native lives.

Challenge at Bardens Lookout

Climbing Challenge. This was one of the new routes that Mitch bolted, grade 22. don't know the name which is not even in 2010 guide. managed to clip only 2nd bolt by myself without resting on rope. Thx Mitch for guiding me to go up 3rd and 4th. After 4th i was so exhausted that i felt I should not be there. It was lots of leaning how to move around, so need to be revisited. In the pic Matt is climbing without struggle, was calm.

Nice view from the lookout after the hard trials.
The next day was Track Care at Boronia Point with about a dozen of climbers. The half of them who were new to TC went down to Boronia Point's crag to climb after BBQ. Whatever you can offer to climbing community it is good.
